Loot Drops: Farming World Bosses, Elite Zones, and New World gold Events
Loot drops are one of the most direct ways to acquire high-level gear in New World. Many of the best items can be obtained from elite world bosses, expeditions, and other PvE activities. Here’s how to farm gear effectively through loot drops:
Elite Zones:
Elite zones are areas where high-level enemies and bosses spawn. These zones are typically marked by purple or elite mobs, and they offer some of the best gear score drops in the game.
Shattered Mountain: This endgame area is home to many elite mobs and bosses, including Marauder, Syndicate, and Covenant commanders, which drop high gear score items.
Reekwater: Reekwater’s elite bosses drop epic and legendary gear and is a great place to farm for top-tier loot.
Ebonscale Reach: This region also has elite zones filled with high-level mobs and chests that can reward you with high GS items.
World Bosses:
World bosses in New World are powerful foes that appear randomly and require coordination with other players to defeat. These bosses drop legendary-quality gear and have a chance to drop high-tier crafting resources as well.
Tempest’s Heart: A high-level expedition area featuring dangerous bosses with epic loot drops.
Tomb of the Sun: This world boss area drops legendary gear but requires preparation and a strong team of players.
Faction Missions:
Faction missions reward you with gear based on your faction rank. Completing PvP faction missions and influence quests can drop rare gear (blue) and rewards based on your faction's control over specific territories.
Loot Chests:
Loot chests are scattered throughout the world and can be looted for both standard and high-quality gear. Elite chests are often found in cheap New World gold endgame zones or after completing difficult objectives.
